The front garden and some parts of the main garden were already developed when I was asked to design a new area with a pond and add to the existing plantings. The main garden is slightly higher than the yard, so I used two long grassy steps to sort this problem. I also added shrubs, flowers and trees to the existing areas. The pond is of an organic shape and is surrounded by plants for all seasons that add to the natural look of the garden.
