Round meadow

Our local roundabout (where nobody goes round as a matter of fact) was somewhat bare except for a cherry tree that we planted together with my neighbours a few years ago. I agreed with the local authority to establish a flowering meadow on the roundabout. I used seeds from Agrostis, Planta Naturalis and my seed box. Throughout the year I also added clumps of asters, echinaceas, catnip, geums etc. The resulting plant community is still developing, but is already quite dynamic and changing all the time. It’s fun to watch the heaving and buzzing and see all the changes throughout the seasons.
